KENDALLVILLE - Delores Beverly Temple, 87, of Kendallville, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Provena Sacred Heart Home in Avilla. Mrs. Temple was born in South Milford, Indiana, on December 6, 1924, to the late Archie and Ethel (Fritz) McGahen.

Delores retired from Uniform Printing in Kendallville after 26 years. She loved camping at Gordon's Campground, playing Bingo, and going to garage sales.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Walt and Mary Temple of Kendallville; grandchildren, Stephanie Hodgins of Fort Gratiot, Michigan, Lisa Barkey of Shelby Township, Michigan, and Thomas Barkey of Timbrooke Pines, Florida; one great-granddaughter; and her best friend since December 1969, Claude Martin of Kendallville.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Barkey, who died in February 2012; her son, David Temple, who died in 1981; sisters, Eleanor Goudy and Virginia; and brothers, Walter McGahen and Lawrence "Bill" McGahen.

Visitation and funeral services will be today at Hite Funeral Home in Kendallville. Visitation is from noon-2 p.m. and the funeral will be at 2 p.m. Officiating the funeral service will be Pastor Wade Sturdivant.
