Eva Kaiser, daughter of George Rockey and his wife Sophia, was born on the 8th of February, 1868, in Crawford County, Ohio and was soon after transplanted into the Kingdom of Jesus by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the holy spirit.
In the year 1883 she came to Wms. Co., where she lived for quite a number of years, till last fall when she with her family moved to Yuma, Colo.
In the year 1886, 21 of August, she entered into holy wedlock with John Kaiser and it was her constant endeavor be unto her husband a faithful companion in the various duties of married life, and a loving mother to her children, which God had given her. This is the husband and children should ever keep in mind. Their union was blessed with four children, three sons and one daughter, of which two are yet quite young and will surely miss their mother very much.
At various places they tried to make a living, but they had no home of their own, so they made up their mind to move to Colorado, where there was yet a chance to gain a home. This they did last fall. Last winter she had an attack of the Grippe and from this time on she was ailing. A cancer formed in her side and the necessity arose to perform an operation. She was taken to the hospital at Denver, Colo., where she died after several days. The time allotted to her in this world was 40 years, 3 months and 27 days.
Those remaining to mourn her sudden unexpected demise, besides husband and children, are, an old father, one brother and three sisters, besides a great number of relatives and friends.
We shall cling to the hope from a message she sent shortly before leaving this vale (sic) of tears, that she had found her Savior in her time of grace and was ready to leave the path of pilgrimage to enter into the promised land.

When from the dust of death I rise
To claim my mansion in the skies
E'en then this shall be all my plea
"Jesus hath lived and died for me".
