Robert S. Pinkston, 86, of Valdosta, departed this world on Saturday, November 3, 2012, at Langdale Hospice House.
He was born March 18, 1926 in Valdosta, a son of the late John William "J.W." Pinkston, Jr. and Fannie Lou Smith Pinkston.
His wife of sixty-seven years, Mary C. Pinkston passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Emily Godair; a half-brother, Jeter Pinkston; and a half-sister, Emily Pinkston.
Private interment will take place at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
