The Welch Regiment.
5th Battalion.

Aged 21.
Son of Ernest Robert James Domican and Amelia Domican, of Grangetown, Cardiff.

His body was washed ashore at Annagh Head, near Belmullet, and reported to the Gardai on 6 August 1940. His body was taken to Belmullet Hospital, and he was buried the following day.

He is buried in Grave No. 1.

He was probably on board SS Arandora Star, which was carrying a crew of 375 British crew and military guards, almost 500 German and 712 Italian prisoners of war/internees to Canada, when it was sunk by U-47, on 2 July 1940.
Over 800 died in the sinking.
