Son of Mrs. Sarah Lynch, of Carrick Hill, Portmarnock, Co. Dublin.


Commemorated on a panel at Grangegorman Memorial.
Buried at St. Marnock's Churchyard, Portmarnock, Co. Dublin.

In the 1901 census, Christopher & Sarah Lynch were living at Carrickhill, Malahide, Co. Dublin.
8 children lived with them, ranging in age from 20 years to 1 month.
James was the third child, second boy, aged 15, and was recorded as a Farm Servant.

In the 1911 census, Christopher & Sarah Lynch were living at Carrickhill, Malahide, Co. Dublin.
Christopher was a 48 year old Labourer, and Sarah was aged 51. They had been married 30 years, and had 10 children, 8 of whom were alive.
James was not living with them.



His brother,
Driver Christopher Lynch
also died in WW1.
