Son of William and Annie Kavanagh, of 6, Back Street, Little Bray.

Commemorated on a panel at Grangegorman Memorial.
Buried at Old Connaught Burial Ground, Bray, Co. Dublin.


In the 1911 census, the Kavanagh family were living at Back Street, Bray.
William was a 48 year old General Labourer, born in Wicklow.
Anne was a 50 year old Cook, born in Co. Wexford.
They had been married 27 years and had 14 children, 10 of whom were alive.
6 children and a nephew lived with them.
James was aged 16, a Scholar, and had been born in Co. Wicklow.
