In the 1911 census, the Flowers family were living at The Military Barracks, New Road, Kilkenny.
Present were,
John Flowers, aged 55, a Labourer in the Barracks, born in England.
Mary, his wife, aged 50, born in City of Limerick.
They had been married 31 years and had 9 children, 8 of whom were alive.
5 of their children were living with them.


Commemmorated on a panel on the Grangegorman Memorial.
Buried at St. John's Cemetery [Catholic], Kilkenny, Co. Kilkenny.
