S.S. "Eupion".

Aged 28.
Son of John and Eleanor Walters, of Myrddin House, Lloyd's Terrace, Newcastle Emlyn, Carmarthenshire, Wales.

SS. Eupion was a tanker, built in 1914, enroute from Philadelphia to Limerick, that was sunk on 3 October 1918, approx. 10 miles west of Loop Head, Co. Clare.
It was hit by a torpedo from UB-123, with the loss of 11 crew.
One week later, UB-123 sank the R.M.S. Leinster with huge loss of life.

Buried at Kilrush [Church of Ireland] graveyard, Co. Clare.
