PARENTS:
Anna STREICH, the third of five known children born to Christian Ferdinand & Dorothea Sophia nee Pomrahnke STREICH, was born in Repplin, Kreis Stargard, Hinterpommern, Prussia.

MARRIAGE:
Anna Ernestine Luise STREICH married Wilhelm Carl Johann Friedrich UERKVITZ (later changed to ERKFITZ) 26 March 1870 in St. Luke Evangelical Lutheran Church of Detroit, MI. Witnesses at their marriage by Rev. Charles Haass were Rudolph Streich of Springwells and August Pomrehnke of Detroit. (NOTE: The marriage record shows both were residends of Springwells Township.)

DEATH RECORD:
The Belknap Township St. John's Cemetery and church records show Ernstine Oerkfritz died 29 June 1898. She is the first recorded death in St. John Church book. (NOTE: * Earlier church records were kept in Rev. Christian Schwan's Diaries. Rev. Schwan retired in 1898 and Rev. Leonard Schmidt then became Pastor of St. John and area Lutheran Churches.)

[Revelations] 2:10; died 06 September 1959 Compton (Lynwood) - Los Angeles County, CA; married (1) Katie GARINGER 24 September 1903 Indianapolis (Marion County), IN; married (2) Elizabeth Mary nee Shock WITKOWSKI. Edward & Elizabeth are buried in Compton Abbey Cemetery of Los Angeles, CA.

Joseph Antonius Bohn in St. Michael's Evengelical Lutheran Church of Belknap; godparents were Otto Baller, Chrisitan Glawe, Fiederike Schlaeger; confirmed in the Lutheran faith on 18 March 1894 by Rev. Joel David Druckenmiller in St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church of Rogers City, MI; memory verse for life was John 14, verse 23; Lincoln County, Oregon World War 1 Draft Registration card shows: Paul Herbert Erkfitz, 38, born 8 Dec 1879, address: Newport, Oregon, is a pile driver for the Warren Spruce Co. of Newport; nearest relative is Dora Erkfitz who lives at 364 Dixon Avenue in Detroit, Michigan; is medium height, medium built, brown eyes, dark bron hair, no physical defects. Christian Schwan in the Lutheran faith the 18th Sunday in Trinity 1895 in St. John Lutheran Church of Belknap Township; married Louise RITZLER 20 June 1905 by Justice of the Peace in Detroit; both died in Detroit, MI.
7. Alfred Wilhelm ERKFITZ; baptized 11 may 1884 by Rev. Bruno Potzger in St. Michael's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Belknap; godparents were Wilhelm Baller, Jr., August Pardeike, Wilhelmine Ristow; confirmed 21 April 1901 by Rev.
