NOTE:
I, Dorothy Hare Wigginton, granddaughter of Will Reynolds and great granddaughter of Nancy (Simmons) Reynolds received this information in an email on Tuesday 7/5/2011, 5:54 PM:

Your Will Reynolds‏

I have been working on your Will Reynolds off and on since I confused him with another Will Reynolds who had a wife named Ida. I believe that I have the correct one now. Here is some of what I came up with.

1880 Census - Warren County Kentucky
Stanford Reynolds, head, wm, 40, md, laborer, Ky, Ky, Ky
Nancy, wf, 26, wife, keeps house, Ky, Ky, Ky
Wm, wm, 7, son
Chas, wm, 2, son
Laura, wf, 12, dau, at home

Barren County Kentucky Bonds Book 2
29 Jan 1886 - Wm. I. Pedigo and S. S. Reynolds
Laura Belle Richardson
Consent mother Nancy Reynolds, "she is under 21 years"

20 Mar 1894 G. W. Hale and P. L. Smith
Laura B. Richardson

1900 Census - Barren County
Nancy Renolds, head, wm, ??1846, 54, widow, 4 children, 2 living, Ky, Ky, Ky, farmer, rents
William, son, wm, oct1874, 25, Ky, Ky, Ky, day laborer
Charlie, son, wm, mar1878, 22, Ky, Ky, Ky, day laborer
Nellie Hale, grand-dau, wf, apr1894, 6, Ky, Ky, Ky
Robert Hale, grand-son, wm, apr1898, 2, Ky, Ky, Ky

Barren County Marriage Index
1902 Charles Reynolds
Lula Hale

Glasgow Republican issue of April 9 1908 - Mrs. Nancy Reynolds, widow of the late Mr. Stanford Reynolds, died at her home in north Glasgow, Saturday, at an advanced age. She is survived by two sons, Messrs. Will and Charley Reynolds.

Charles died in Louisville 15 May 1941. His occupation was shown as "retired lumber grader." Will Reynolds is shown on one census as a "lumber inspector." Charles' is shown as born in Hart County [possibly the reason that I cannot find marriage records for Stanford or either of Nancy's marriage records]and his parents as Stanford Reynolds and Nancy Simmons. The death certificate shows both Sanford and Nancy as born in Barren County. Charles' birth date is shown as 1880. The informant was Charles' widow Lula Hale Reynolds.

I hope that this is of some help to you.

According to information emailed to me Will married Ida P Carver in the early part of 1909. (Book 40, Page 482 William (X) Reynolds & Ida Carver, surety Bose (X) Younger, Ida stated she was 25 years old.[X is for a mark for signature]...According to Barren Co records in Martha Powell's book of marriages- Barren Co Ky to 1932 recorded their marriage 1909. No month or day of month. THIS IS IN CONFLICT WITH 1930 CENSUS INFORMATION THAT LIST: Ida's 1st Marriage @ 23.)

Will and Ida had eight children:
Sallie Ann Reynolds
William W C "Dickie" Reynolds
Edward or Earnest Stanley Reynolds
Lou Beatrice Reynolds
James Edgar Reynolds
Infant Boy (lived 3 hours)
Robert Benjamin "Benny" Reynolds
Agnes Leona Reynolds

He worked as a Lumber Inspector for A E Musick Wood Mosaic Lumber Co.

Will was hit be a train on 24 Oct 1923, died the next day.

Cannot find a death certifcate for him. But his toddler daughter, Agnes Leona died 3 months before his death on 12 July 1923 and her death certificate list Burial: Pub Graveyard, assuming Public Graveyard. Possibly Will is buried in this Graveyard since an article that ran in the Glasgow Republican list: "The remains were interred in the cemetery out the Knob road, Friday". Linda Hope lived thru her teen years in Glasgow sent me this sheet: "Hatcher and Saddler Funeral Home-Page 7...Reynolds, Will: Died 25 Oct 1923 Glasgow, killed by a train, Dr Lee Botts, charged to A Minick, burial 26 Oct."

According to his WWI Draft Registration Card he worked as a lumber inspector for A E Minick Wood Mosaic Lumber Co and his last census in 1920 list: lumber inspector....There are also two of his and Ida's children listed on this page: Reynolds, Child and Reynolds, Erneast Stanley both buried: on Knob Road. His and Ida's daughter, Agnes Leona Reynolds previously mentioned about her death certificate list: Pub Graveyard. (Is this possibly the cemetery where all four buried on Knob Road called Old Glasgow Cemetery-the oldest cemetery in Glasgow-maybe this was the public cemetery at the time of their deaths....On Barren County Cemetery Index on line and the book, Barren County Kemtucky Cemetery Records doesn't list their names, possibly they had no headstones.)

Preceded in death: Parents, sister, Laura Bell and children: Unnamed Boy, Stanley and Agnes Leona Reynolds.
