Mr. Alcocer died Saturday, Aug. 12, at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center in Anniston.
Survivors include his wife, Delia Alcocer of Roanoke; two daughters, Ronesi Alcocer and Nora Alcocer, both of Puerto Rico; a son, Frank Alcocer of Roanoke; three sisters, Yolanda Weetman of Wedowee, Millie Brown of Oxford and Iris Alcocer of Puerto; a brother, Luis R. Alcocer of Puerto Rico; three grandchildren, sever-al nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
A Puerto Rico native, Mr. Alcocer was born Dec. 19, 1941, son of Jose Francisco and Barbara Lopez Alcocer. He was Catholic by faith and had owned and operated the JF Market in Roanoke.
Pallbearers were Darrell Brown, Jose Velasquez, John Davis, Jerry Bolt, Jose Alcocer and Richard Head.
