Robert Anthony Staten III, 4 months, was born Sept. 23, 2005, in Palatka, to Robert States Jr. and Kenyausha Tobler. During the morning hours of Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006, at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, Baby Robert died.
Survivors are parents, Robert Staten Jr. and Kenyausha Tobler; paternal grandparents, Charlotte Staten and Robert (Lillian) Session; maternal grandparents, Herbert (Nancy) Tobler Jr. and Katie Johnson; great-grandparents, George Staten Jr., Lena Mae Staten, Lena Mae Perry and Mary Johnson; uncles, Mason and Dion Staten, Herbert Tobler III, Antonio Terrance, Antwan, Derrick and Dybirus Tobler; aunts, LaQuesha, Shaneaka and Hernisha Tobler and Jeanna Staten; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are noon today at Tree of Life EPC in Palatka, with Pastor Dorothy Moody officiating. Bishop K. A. Tenah will deliver the main eulogy. Burial will follow at Oak Hill West Cemetery in Palatka.
