Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday from the Ballard Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Lucy Richmond, 66, 408 W. 16th St.

The Rev. Neri Greskoviak, OFM, assistant pastor of St. Peter's Catholic Church, will officiate for the services.

Burial will be in South Park Cemetery under direction of Ballard Funeral Home.

Mrs. Richmond died at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Hospital of natural causes following an illness of several years'duration.

She was born to Sam Noling and Mattie Davis Noling on Feb, 3, 1908 in Pecos, Tex.

Mrs. Richmond moved to Roswell with her family in 1918. She attended Roswell schools and was a beauty operator for about 25 years. She worked at the Mitchell Drug a number of years and at the Walker AFB cafeteria until the base here was closed in 1967. She had been retired since that time.

She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Mrs. Richmond is survived by one son, William I. Richmond of Los Alamos; two brothers, Allen Noling of Roswell and Homer Noling of Beaumont, Tex.; four sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Keller of Roswell; Mrs. Anne Belle Babcock of Santa Paula, Calif., Mrs. Patsy Hodges of Farmington and Mrs. Mary Mount of Pecos, Texas and two grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Collier; Wylie Robinson, Henry Harper, Champ Bowden, Larry Van Winkle, and Robert M. Ballew.
