Negro League baseball player 1921-1934. Pitcher, first baseman and outfielder for the Atlantic City Bacharach Giants, Baltimore Black Sox, Philadelphia Hilldale Giants, Philadelphia Stars and the Cleveland Red Sox.

Veteran - 372nd Inf. in France, WW I. Discharged in 1919. Recipient of the Purple Heart.

Umpire for the Negro National League from 1934-1943. Worked the 1942 Negro League World Series.

After baseball, he became a taxi driver in Washington, DC. He then spent 31 years working for the Veterans Administration.
