CONVOY, Ohio - Raymond E. Fabian, 61, Convoy, died Saturday, March 31, 2012, at his residence.

He was born Aug. 6, 1950, in Convoy, to the late Elizabeth (Burke) Fabian and Ervin "Dutch" Fabian. He is survived by his long time friend, Jenny Seekings.
Other survivors include his child: Amber (Jeremie) Houser of Ohio City, Ohio; stepchildren: Ashley (Randy) Radabaugh and Keri Helstad of Van Wert; brothers: Ervin Fabian of Delphos, Ohio, Ed (Faith) Fabian of Convoy and Paul (Robin) Fabian of Van Wert; a sister: Donna Scott of Paulding, Ohio, and his grandchildren: Drew, Morgan, Payton, Kursten, Ryland, Kortni, Noah, Braiden and Gabe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother-in-law: Jim Scott.
He retired from Ohio Department of Transportation in Van Wert. He was a United States Army veteran serving in Vietnam, a member of Van Wert V.F.W., enjoyed fishing, working on cars and just being outside.
Friends may call from 1-7 p.m. Thursday, April 5 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. Military services will be performed at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 5 at the funeral home.

Preferred memorial is to the family.
