Private Brunner Killed

Pfc. Herbert R. Brunner, 25, infantryman, was killed in action in France September 17, His wife, Mrs. Hilda Brunner, Broad street, was advised in a telegram she received from the War Department Wednesday. Private Brunner entered the Army last November, and was sent to France early in July of this year. He had been employed at Letterkenny Ordnance Depot.
Surviving are his wife and three children, Margaret Ann, Donald Lee and John Herbert, all at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Brunner, Vine street; a sister, Miss Gertrude Brunner, at home and a brother, Pvt John A. Brunner, Fort McClellan, Ala.
