Deshler native Augusta Karoline Heinretta (Ahrens) Koch, 96, of York died Friday, Oct. 6, 1995, in York.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. today at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York with the Rev. Arthur Brinkmeyer officiating.

Graveside services were to be at 3 p.m. at Deshler City Cemetery in Deshler. Metz Mortuary of York is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Koch was born Jan. 12, 1899, to Fredrich and Wilhelmine (Atenhan) Ahrens in Deshler. On April 24, 1919, she married William Koch in Deshler. They lived in Deshler, Lincoln and York. Her husband preceded her in death.

She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York.

Survivors are two daughters, Bernice Anderson of Ong and Ruth Fintel of Crete; seven grandchildren; and 14
great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Wilbert; two brothers and two sisters.
Memorials may be given to Emmanuel Lutheran Church or the donor's choice.
