Wilfred D'Amour Succumbs To Disease: Funeral Monday
Wilfred D'Amour, 43, employed as a lumber inspector at the Ford Motor Plant in Kingsford, died at an early hour this morning from heart failure at the home of his brother George D'Amour.
Mr. D'Amour came to Iron Mountain in March 1922, his family following him last June. They resided at 106 West A street.
Besides his wife he leaves 6 daughters, Mary, Regina, Katherine, Alice, Margaret & Joan. HIs mother & stepfather, Mr. & Mrs. L. Demearis of Marinette, Wis., 3 brothers & 2 sisters.(Friday, May 25, 1923, Iron Mountain Press newspaper, Dickinson, Michigan.)
