BLUEFIELD — Janie Diane Harrison, age 43, of Route 1, Box 463, Bluefield, W.Va., died on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center.

Born on April 6, 1969 in Princeton, she was a daughter of Willis Kenneth and (adopted daughter of)Joyce McBride Harrison of Nemours, W.Va.

She was a loving mother, and grandmother. She had lived in Bluefield for the past seven months and had previously lived in Goose Creek, South Carolina. She was a member of the Creek Church in Goose Creek.

In addition to her parents, survivors include: Sons: Walter Kenneth Giberson of Bluefield, W.Va., Daniel Scott Giberson of Bluefield, W.Va.; brothers: Kenneth A. Harrison and wife Dagmar of Morgantown, W.Va., Robert W. Hovatter and wife Darlene of St. Albans, W.Va., Timothy S. Hovatter and wife Marchia of Beaver, W.Va., Half brother Toma John Campbell of Washington State; sisters: Willa Thomas and husband Alex of Princeton, W.Va., Sonja Hovatter of Princeton, W.Va., Kendra Hampton and husband Charlie of Princeton, W.Va., Half sisters; Tammie Richmond and husband Jerry of Princeton, W.Va., Vickie Lester and husband Stacy of Princeton, W.Va.; former husband and the father of her sons, Danny Giberson of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren: Brianna Giberson of Bluefield, WV; Danielle Giberson,of SC; Kailani Renee Giberson of SC; and Payton Giberson of Bluefield, WV. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Ada Chapel in Bluefield, W.Va. with Pastor James Bassett officiating.

Burial will follow at the Giberson Cemetery on Wrights Mountain near Rock, W.Va.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. prior to the service at Ada Chapel.
