Alex C. Heathman 68, of Indianola, died at his home Friday, March 21. He was a retired farmer and had lived in the community all his life.
Mr. Heathman was a veteran of World War II and a member of A.T.O. Fraternity. Survivors include his mother, Inamay Hogin Heathman of Indianola two sons, Alex C. Heathman Jr. of Memphis and James Heathman IV of Bossier City, and two grandchildren. Services were held Sunday, 3 p.m., at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church with Rev. Stan Runnels officiating and burial at City Cemetery. Pallbearers included Berry Kelly, Carmelo Bianca, Joe Lee. A. Ely, Jimmy Lear, and George A. Kehle Jr..
