FULTON, Oct 20. Charles Henry Abbey, 69, died at his home at 205 Highland St. yesterday following an illness of several months duration. For the past two weeks he has been confined to his home. Mr. Abbey was born in Herkimer and had been
a resident of this city for a number of years and was one of the best known residents of the southern section of the city. For a number of years he held a position in the American Woolen Mills and at one time was employed at the Hunter Fan and. Motor Company. He was a life long Republican. Surviving is his wife, Mrs. Emma Abbey of this city, and a sister, Mrs. Archie Somers of Cortland, a brother, Harry Abbey of Syracuse. The funeral will be conducted from the home at 205 Highland st. at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. Rev. William Lord, pastor of the Methodist Church at Mount Pleasant will officiate and burial will be in the rural cemetery at Mount Pleasant.
