RAY, Mrs. Rosellen Franks, 85, a resident of Wetumpka, Al., passed away Friday, December 12, 2008. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 14, 2008 at 2:00 pm from Holtville Riverside Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Cains Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Ellison Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Ray is survived by her husband of 64 years, Reginald Jackson Ray, Sr., Wetumpka, Al., one daughter, Rhonda Lee Ray, Atlanta, Ga., two sons, Reginald Jackson Ray, Jr., Montgomery, Al., Wendell Wyatt Ray, Murray,Ky., three sisters, Terry Jane Patat, Dalton, Ga., Eva Nell Moon and Bremer Jolly, both of Lavonia, Ga., five grandchildren.

Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her sister, Buris Crowell and two brothers Jones Franks and Bud Franks.

Mrs. Ray was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. She served as State President of the Cattle Women’s Association. Mrs. Ray was a Sunday school teacher for many years at The Holtville Riverside Baptist Church. She will always be remembered for her skills in craftwork and cooking.
