HARE. John Edward-Age 54 years, of 3731 Burrus Avenue, Nashville, Tuesday morning, August 20, 1974 at Baptist Hospital. Survived by wife, Mrs. Pearl Morgan Hare. Nashville; sons, Royndal Hare, Nashville, Samuel E. Hare, Lanham, Maryland; daughters, Mrs. Billy Coleman. Nashville, Mrs. V. J. Vanderpool, White House; 5 grandchildren; brother, Horace Edwin Hare: sister, Mrs. Bessie Byrd, both of Glasgow. Ky. Remains are at the Cole & Garrett Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, where services will be conducted Thursday afternoon, August 22nd at 1 : 00 o'clock by Jack Stubblefield. Honorary pallbearers: Ellis Howard Parker, Ross Hudson, Harold Simpson, Herby Powell, Gary Chadwell and Billy Chadwell. Active: Martin W. Schmidt, Andy P. Williams. James B. Beasley, Allan D. Wright, Winston L. Morelock, Ray D. Carver and Herman Lee Jones. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery, COLE & GARRETT FUNERAL DIRECTORS.

His father could not care for him and he was adopted by Stanley Russell Parrish and Eva Goodhue Parrish. Laurence and his wife, Grace Clawson Rife Parrish are buried in Rossville Cemetery, Rossville, Illinois.
