Mother Callie M. Jones, was born on March 17, 1929 in Brownsville, Tennessee, to the union of Willie and Betty Harbert. She was the first child of two. Mother Callie attended Martin Boots High School. She was a member of the Bibleway Church of God & Christ, 215 W. 38th. Street, Marion.

She departed this life on March 21, 2006 at the age of 77. Her husband, James Walter Jones preceded her in death in 1993. She enjoyed needlework, sewing and cooking.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Marcia Harbert, five grandchildren, Landon, Shawn, Jamin, Jasmine and Charlesa, four step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and several other great-grandchildren, all of Marion, one sister, Artris Harbert of San Antonio, Texas, one niece, Alice Harbert of San Antonio, Texas and a host of friends.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Thomas Eugene Harbert.

Services will be at Noon Thursday, May 25, 2006 in Raven-Choate Funeral Home with the Elder Oscar Perry officiating. Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion.
