ASHEVILLE ~ William Alexander "Mac" McElduff, 88, died Aug. 12, 2000, at home.
He was a native of Blackstock, S.C., son of the late Henry M. and Sara Alexander McCarley McElduff, resident of Asheville for more than 50 years, former owner-operator of McElduff's Orthopedic and Appliance Company, Army veteran of World War II, member of Masonic Lodge, Oasis Shriners Temple, West Asheville Kiwanis Club, VFW Post 891, Western N.C. Pilots Association, Loyal Order of Elks, served as Exalted Ruler, County Coroner in Bumcombe County for many years, former member of Lion's Club.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: Brothers, James Edwin "Jim" and Thomas "Stack" McElduff
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. today, Anders-Rice Funeral Home
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Concord Presbyterian Church Cemetery
