Services will be at 3 p.m. today at the New Prospect Baptist Church with Dr. James Towery and the Rev. John Maxey officiating. Burial will be in the New Prospect Cemetery. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Aberdeen is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jean Garner Malone of Hamilton; one daughter, Nancy Malone House and husband, Lynn, of Hamilton; two sons, Jerry Malone and wife, Sandy, and Willie Malone and wife, Beverly, all of Hamilton; three brothers, Ray Malone and wife, Irene, Horace Malone and wife, Reba, and Loyd Malone and wife, Dorothy, all of Hamilton; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, James Malone, Thomas Malone and Paul Malone.
Pallbearers will be Van Wells Jr., Bobby Cantrell, Dennis Self, Adrain Berry Very Wells, Robert Irvin, Raymond "Red" Boyd and Max Gosa.
