WALTEMATHE, Douglas Joel age 68 of Centerville, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011. Doug was a 1961 graduate of Belmont High School and an active member of Patterson Park Church for over 30 years. He retired from General Motors where he worked in the Engineering Department. He worked at Community Golf Course during his post retirement years. Doug enjoyed riding his Harley, playing golf and hunting. He was an avid cyclist and enjoyed long rides on the trails with his friends. Preceded in death by his father, Frank Waltemathe and wife of 28 years, Deanna. Douglas is survived by his mother, Ruth Waltemathe; sister, Judy (Ron) Kercher; brother, Jeff (Joetta) Waltemathe; daughter, Janelle and two sons Mark and Layne; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; devoted girlfriend, Bonnie J. Cash; and lifetime friend, Jim Moore. Family will greet friends on Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 10:00AM-12:30PM at Patterson Park Church, 3655 E. Patterson Rd, Beavercreek, OH. Funeral service to follow with Pastor Joe Godwin officiating. Burial in Dayton Memorial Park.
