Winifred Elizabeth "Winnibeth" Anderson-Zeisel October 28, 1950 – November 1, 2012 Winifred Elizabeth "Winnibeth" Anderson-Zeisel passed away at 62 years old, in her home, at 12:55 a.m. on November 1, 2012.

Winnibeth was born on October 28, 1950, to Dorthy Anderson-Fee and the late Earl Anderson in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Winnie was blessed with her first child in February, 1967 and graduated from Fruita Monument High School in 1968. She spent much of her life in Fruita, Colorado and Colorado Springs, Colorado and married her husband of 27 years, Dan, on February 22, 1986. Her first grandchild was born in May of 1993 when Winifred was 43 years old.

Fancying the simple things in life, Winnie was an avid animal lover and enjoyed a working life, earning a living through multiple professions, notably taxi driving, directing a non-profit company and, her personal favourite, driving trucks in the Halliburton oil fields.

She worked until illness required her to retire at 58 years old from her long-term employment at ERC in Colorado Springs, CO.

Winnie proved herself countless times to be a loving mother, wife, and, eventually, grandmother, blessing those she was around with laughter and love.

Throughout her life she donated thousands of dollars towards multiple organizations and rescued countless stray animals.

Winnie spent much of her life bettering the life of her children, particularly her eldest son and his children after the loss of their mother.

When it was Winnie's time to be taken care of, her daughter, Samantha, took the reins. Winnibeth would want to thank her daughter for all of her sacrifices and would be proud to know her legacy of kindness, sacrifice, and courage has lived on through Jaquoi's all-encompassing love for animals, Kelly's adoration for helping others, and Samantha's willingness to sacrifice for family. Her life and legacy will continue living on through those she loved and those who loved her.

Winnie was an active, dedicated member of the Church of Jesus Christ and the Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting, scrapbooking, painting, cooking, and spoiling her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Dan; mother, Dorthy; sister, Sugar (Andy); four children, Daniel Jr., Candice, Samantha (Greg), and James, as well as six grandchildren, Jaquoi, Kelly, Corey, Zachary, Daniel III, and Dylan, and her loyal, long-term companion, Zeus.

A visitation will be held this Sunday, November 4, from 5 - 7:00 p.m. at Fruita Funeral Home, located at 455 Kokopelli Blvd, Suite A, Fruita, CO. Funeral services will be held this Monday, November 5, beginning at 2:00 p.m., at the Fruita Funeral Home. Interment will follow, beginning at 3:00 p.m., in the Elmwood Cemetery of Fruita.

Services are entrusted to Fruita Funeral Home.
