Leonard Wilbert Graham, 94, formerly of Fieldale, died Wednesday, May 24, 2006, at the Blue Ridge Nursing Center, Martinsville.

He was born in Patrick County on March 23, 1912, to Samuel Jackson and Dora Mize Graham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leola McCoy Graham; a daughter, Shirley Adams; a grandson, Daryl Hackworth; and 11 brothers and sisters.

He served in the Army during World War II, retired from American Furniture Company after 20 years of service, and he was a member of Day Star Ministries.

Surviving are one daughter, Jeanette Hackworth of Bedford; and three grandchildren.

The graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Roselawn Burial Park with the Rev. Sammy Caldwell officiating.

The family will receive friends at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home for one hour before the graveside service. The public may also visit at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. today.
