Mrs. Vera Booth passed away at the Comm-
unity Memorial Hospital in Marysville,
Kansas, Saturday, March 28, 1970.

She was born February 13, 1901, in Iowa.
on November 29, 1921 she was united in
marriage to Lee Booth. To this union was
born three daughters, Mary Louise, (Mrs.
Harold Thomas) Elma Irene (Mrs. Harley
Dettmer) and Elma Irene (Mrs. Mervin

Vera was a member of the Pentecostal
Church of God and very active in her church
holding offices a Sunday School Superin-
tendent and Church treasurer. At the time
of her death she was a trustee of the church
and secretary of the Sunday School. She was
faithful to her church and will be greatly
missed by her pastors and the congregation.

Her life has made her a dear friend to many
and a good neighbor. She had lived in the
Frankfort vicinity most of her life.

Besides her friends and neighbors there
remains to mourn her passing 3 daughters
and their husbands, 6 granddaughters and
5 grandsons. She was preceded in death
by her husband, Lee.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March
31, 1970 at 2:30 p.m. in the Padden Chapel
Frankfort, Kansas with the Reverend P.V.
Wright officiating.

Mrs. Glen Forgy, pianist and Mrs. Everett
Shearer, soloist provide the music for the

Pallbearers were Ted Floyd, Vern McKee,
Kenneth Blackney, Orval Tate, Paul
Holenbeck and Glen Grove.
