Born in 1842 (conflicts with headstone and other census records - many dates in this document seem to be in conflict)
First Marriage to a farmer in 1857 (at the age of 15 years) One child, David Thomas, of this marriage born near Des Moines, Iowa in 1858. His father died about 1859. Libbie was then 17 years old.
Second Marriage to George J McDonough in 1862. He adopted the boy and gave him the name David Thomas McDonough. There were no children born of this second marriage. George J McDonough died in Kansas City, MO in 1900. Libbie was 38 years old.
Third marriage to George Ledington, an old soldier of the civil war in 1905. This man died in Nash, Oklahoma in 1920. Libbie Ledington died December 5, 1928 at age 86.
