Goldie Effie Elliott, 73, Marysville, KS
died at her home on Friday, June 10,
1983.
Funeral services were conducted from
Kinsley Mortuary at 10 a.m. with Rev.
Earl Underwood officiating.
The former Goldie Herda the daughter
of William and Lucy Mitchell Herda
was born on August 16, 1909, at
Brumley, in Miller County, Missouri.
She graduated from Vermillion High
School in 1926.
She was married to Frank Elliott on
December 3, 1929. They were the
parents of two sons and one daughter.
They were associated with the motel
and restaruant business for 32 years.
She was a member of the Presbyterian
Church and the Order of the Eastern
Star.
Preceding her in death were her
parents and one brother Emery
Herda.
She is survived by her husband Frank
Elliott of the home, two sons Bill
Elliott and Jerry Elliott of Marysville,
a daughter Deanna Kirk, Lebo, Kansas;
5 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild;
one brother, Edward Herda and a
sister, Geraldine DiGiovanni, both of
Marysville.
