Departed this life, October 3d, Mary Walden, wife of E.H. Alford of Tallahassee, Fla.
This brief announcement has been sent to us by a friend from Tallahassee.
Mary Walden, with her lithe and willowy form, gentle manners, loving disposition and ethereal beauty, will be remembered by many here. Her sweet face, crowned with a golden halo, will not be forgotten by those who knew her in girlhood days, and who watched the beautiful bud expand into the full blown flower of womanhood.
She was the daughter of Jack Walden, at one time a prominent citizen of Thomas County, and a sister of Dr. Jack Walden, who is still remembered by some in Thomasville.
A beautiful life is ended.
