Mrs. Joseph Aulik, 56, of rural route in Carlton, Kewaunee county, died Monday evening at St. Vincent's hospital Green Bay after a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the residence and 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic church, Tisch Mills, the Rev. John Rous officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Aulik, nee Bessie Zime, was born in Antigo in 1890 and was married to Joseph Aulik in Antigo in 1910. For seven years they resided in that city before moving to the Aulik farm homestead in Carlton where they have since lived.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Kunish of Tisch Mills, Mrs. Frank Siebold and Mrs. Milton Augustine both of Carlton; a sister, Mrs. James Maresh of Two Rivers; two brothers, Frank and Joseph of Antigo; and five grandchildren.

The rosary will be recited at the residence at 8 p.m. Thursday and the body may be viewed from Wednesday evening to time of services also at the residence.
