(November 12, 1956 - October 31, 2012)

COY DEAN LANDSDOWN

Coy Landsdown, 55, of Gainesville, MO, passed away on October 31, 2012 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, AR. He was born on November 12, 1956 in Isabella, MO the son of William H. and Biddie H. (Snider) Landsdown.

Coy was a 1975 graduate of Gainesville High School. He was united in marriage to Alice (Bradburn) Rosenwald on October 7, 1989 in Theodosia, MO. Coy was a life-long resident of Ozark County. He owned his own small engine repair business, which he operated most all of his life. Most likely, anyone who has owned a lawn mower around Gainesville in the last 30 years knew Coy. In the past few years he had become a big fan of the "Tight Wad Pullers", a group of local modified lawn tractor owners, who get together to show off their pulling power. Coy was always a crowd favorite. He was an outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was known by his family as "Uncle Scrap it". He was loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Coy was preceded in death by his parents, William and Biddie Landsdown, and ten siblings. He is survived by his wife, Alice, of the home in Gainesville, MO; three sons Billy Landsdown, Ronnie Landsdown and Jason Landsdown; two step daughters Joni and Kimberly Rosenwald; two step grandchildren; two brothers Carl Jr. of Ava, MO and George Landsdown and wife Cheryl of Gainesville, MO; and one sister Annabell Landsdown.

Funeral services for Coy will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO with Bro. Gale Wooten officiating. Burial will be in the Isabella Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday afternoon from 1 p.m. to service time. On line condolences may be made to www.clinkingbeardfuneralhome.com.
