Funeral services were held Thursday at the Swanson funeral home for Samuel M. Chaney, 73 years of age, who died of a heart ailment at 4:15 o'clock Tuesday in Maryville. The Rev. O.S. Lincoln of the First Chrisitan church conducted the service and Mrs. O.S. Lincoln arranged the music. Pall bearers were Frank New, jr., Charles Lewis, Fred Yeomans, Gade Rusk, Charles Gray and Fred Reeder. Burial was in the Hopkins cemetery.
