Mrs. Vandenhouten Dies; Rites Held

DYCKESVILLE — Mrs. Anna Vandenhouten, 82, Dyckesville, died Sunday noon in a Green Bay nursing home. She was ill 15 months.

Services were at 9:30 a.m. in St. Louis church, Dyckesville, Rev. Dominic Hockers, O. Praem, officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Vandenhouten, the former Anna Denis, was born in Dyckesville and married Joseph Vandenhouten 61 years ago. The couple farmed in Tonet until 1922 when they acquired a Dyckesville farm. Mr. Vendenhouten died in 1950.

Survivors are two sons, Norman, at home, and Irvin, Green Bay; two daughters, Mrs. George (Mayme) Delvaux, Bay Settlement, and Mrs. Victor (Gladys) Nellis, Dyckesville; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Also remaining are two brothers, Emil Denis, New Franken, and Thomas, Humboldt, and three sisters, Mrs. Eli Vandenhouten, Mrs. Felix Pommier and Mrs. George Jacquart, all of Dyckesville.
