Edgar Felicien Bordelon, born of Louis Felicien Bordelon (1809-1895) and Felonise McMahon (nee Dauzat) . Sibling to Onest Felicien Bordelon and Eulalie Bordelon. His grandparents were Zenon Bordelon Sr and Eulalie Joffroin. His great-grandparents were Antoine Joseff Bordelon Sr. and Margueritte Frederick Leonard. His great-great-grandparents were French immigrants Gabriel Laurens Bordelon (purported to be the first Bordelon in Louisiana and an employee of the Company of the Indies) and Anne Francois Rolland of Paris, France.
He was an Avoyelles Parish Constable in 1903. Owned and operated a general store along the banks of Red River.
His children were Ann, Calvin Joseph, Emeric A. Bordelon. Adopted daughter Edmonia, "Mona", and step-father to Sylvia Sanders and Lee R. Sanders (Ellen's children).
Edgar is buried between his 2nd wife, Ellen Scroggs and his daughter, Ann Bordelon Linebarger.
