Services for Forrest Eddings was Wednesday Sept. 24,2003 at Milner Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak, Kenneth Shelton Officiated.

He died Sunday Sept. 21,2003 at Mariner Health Center in Nashville, Tnn.

A U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII, he was the owner of Eddings Professional Cleaning Service, and he worked as a supervisor for the West Kentucky Easter Seal Center and Claussner Hosiery Mill. He was a member of the Kentucky Pioneers Senior Citizens basketball team, and Herrin Seventh-day Adventist Church in Herrin, Ill.

Surviving are two daughters, Donna Keeling of Paducah and Rebecca Lee Eddings of Nashville; one son, Bill Eddings of Nashville; two sisters Vergie Wilson Of Paducah and Mildred Falwell of Lewiston, Idaho, eight grandchildren ,12 great grandchildren four great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews ,

He was preceded by his wife, Dorothy Rebecca heath Eddings and several brothers and sisters, His parents were Joseph Sidney and Lottie Johnson Eddings.



Mr Eddings was very devoted to his daughter Becky he was there all day every day to spend time with her, even when he didn't feel well himself, he always worried what would happen to her when he died. She always appeared to know him and responded to him when he talked to her.

He was a very kind man,was nice to all the staff,just wanted to always make sure Becky was treated with the utmost care.
