Charles Edwin "Chuck" Riddlebaugh, 68, of Lexington, went unexpectedly to be with the Lord Friday, November 2, 2012 at his home.

Born April 10, 1944 in Mansfield, Ohio he was the son of Harold and Jenny Louise (Spaulding) Riddlebaugh. Chuck was employed at Bunting Bearing for 25 years as a molder and supervisor of safety. He had also worked for Hi Stat in Lexington, Bosch in Ashland, and Taylor Metal in Mansfield where he was a foreman. An avid outdoorsman, Chuck enjoyed deer hunting and fishing and looked forward to his fishing trips to Canada with his friends. He was a member of several bowling leagues, liked riding motorcycles, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan. He was a very intelligent person who liked keeping up with current events and watching Jeopardy, but his greatest enjoyment was being with his family ~ supporting his children and grandchildren in their lives and spending time with his great grandchildren. Ultimately, he was a great husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather to his loving family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joyce Carol (Burdine) Riddlebaugh; a son, Philip Riddlebaugh; a daughter, Vicki (Kevin) Collins; grandchildren, Tori (Andrew) Douville and Devyn Collins; great grandchildren, Pierce and Ethan Douville; a sister, Patricia Riddlebaugh; his best friend, Walter Norris; two sisters-in-law; and many more family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael H. Riddlebaugh.

Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100, S. Lexington-Springmill Road, Ontario. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Brian Phillips. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
