Opal Napier, 95, of Monaville, went home to be with the Lord and gather with her family Wednesday, October 31, 2012, from her home.

Born April 6, 1917, at Willard, Ky., she was a daughter of Henry D. and Laura Cook Gollihue.

Opal was a great mom and worked hard to see that her kids knew the Lord and graduated from school, which they all did and are all children of God. She was a member of the Monaville Community Church, Ladies Aide, Choir and a founding member of the Monahill Freewill Baptist Church.

Also preceding her in death was her husband of 50 years, Mosey D. Napier, daughter, Violet Napier, brothers, Ellis, Roy, Manuel, Alfred, Edgil, Freeman and Baby Jean Gollihue, and sisters Mary Olive Horner, Beulah Miller and Lillian Gollihue.

Those Left to cherish her memory include her son, Henry E. (Kathy) Napier of West Valley City, Utah, daughters, Frances Nielsen of Monaville, Laura Yvonne (Delmus) Perrine of Kim Bolton, OH., and Annette Napier, whom she made her home, of Monaville, a special grandson she helped raise, Kevin (Nora) Napier of Holden, 13 additional grandchildren, Kathy Kuhn of Sherwood, OH., Larry (Freda) Muncey of Madison, Ala., Sherry Glaab of Defiance, OH., Billy Ray Perrine of Grafton, OH., Steve (Donna) Perrine of Columbia Station, OH., Scott (Tiffany) of Lexington, Ky., Jennifer Pearce of Salt Lake City, Utah, Chris (Lynn) Napier, Laura Napier and Maren (Chris) Begnavd, all of Utah, and twins Amanda (Rolando) of Redwood City, Calif., and Cassandra (Carlos) Torres, also of Utah, 34 great-grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2012, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Richard Belcher officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
