Robert Arlington "Arlie" Brown, 92, of Camillus, died Saturday at Loretto Nursing Home. Born in St. John's, Newfoundland, he lived in Camillus since 1967. Arlie was a tool and die maker for Lipe Rollway Bearing in Liverpool, retiring in 1983 af-ter 16 years. He was a sailmaker and carpenter in St. John's and moved to Toronto, Ontario, in 1945, where he was a cabinet maker, a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, and a business agent for the carpenters' union. He was a member of the Salvation Army Citadel Corps in St. John's, North Toronto S.A. Corps in Toronto and St. Petersburg S.A. Citadel in Florida. He was also a member of Immanuel Church of the Nazarene in Camillus. Surviving are his wife of 65 years, the former Nina Osmond; daughter, Katherine (Dr. Melvin) Chambliss of Alfred Station; son, Arlington Robert Brown of Camillus; brother, Fredrick Brown of Toronto; and five grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Church of the Nazarene, corner of Onondaga and Split Rock Roads. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Buranich Funeral Home, 5431 W. Genesee St., Camillus, and Wednesday at church from noon until the time of service. Burial will be in Howlett Hill Cemetery, Camillus. Contributions may be made to Salvation Army, P.O.
