Albert C. Boyer passed away in Mercy Hospital, Burlington, at 7 o'clock this (Thursday) morning, after suffering for the past ten days from pneumonia and heart trouble.
Albert C. Boyer, son of Thomas and Rebecca (Martin) Boyer, was born in the Reed neighborhood, July 29, 1866. He was married to Frances Gilland, of Oquawka June 30, 1892. They made their home on a farm. Eight children were born to them: Mrs. Ella Hanson, East Moline; Mrs. Mabel Murphy, Springfield; Addie Boyer and Mrs Helen Larson, Moline; Mrs. Mary Diedrickson, Frankfort, Michigan; Mrs. Alice Findley, Detroit, Michigan; William Boyer, of the U.S. Army. One son Russell is deceased. He is survived by 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. His brothers and sisters are all deceased. Funeral arrangements are not complete but services will probably be held Saturday.
