Services for Charles Richard Burgess, 59, of 204 Morningside Drive, will be at 2pm Thursday in the chapel of Henninger Funeral Home with the Rev. John Christian officitaing. Burial will be in Cerulean Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 tonight at the funeral home.
Mr. Burgess died Tuesday at his home after an apparent heart attack.
A Christian County native, he was born Aug. 3, 1919, the son of Irene Gentry Burgess, Trigg County, and the late Charlie William Burgess. He was a member of Second Baptist Church and employed by the Christian County school system.
Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Anna Brashears Burgess.
