Services for Edward D. Taylor, 65, of 1515
East 11th. will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at East-
side Baptist Church with burial in Sunset
Memorial Gardens under direction of
Hubbard- Kelly Funeral Home.
Taylor died Monday morning at Medical
Center Hospital after a one week illness.
He was born Dec. 18,1912, in Coryell Co.,
and was a custodian for Ector County
Schools. Taylor was married March 23,1934,
in Mosheim to Loretta Cox and came to Odessa
in 1942 from McGregor. He was a member of
Eastside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Dr. Edward
Donald Taylor of 506 Douglas; one daughter,
Donna Yvonne Woods of 2908 Madea; three
brothers, William G. Taylor of 603 Crockett;
John E. Taylor of 2712 Cumberland and F.C.
Taylor of 1629 Wedgewood; one sister, Mrs.
Johnny Watson of Arlington; and two grand-
children.
