Robert Mahoney Dies; Siberia Vet

Robert Mahoney, 59, of 4956 South Forty-first Street, died of cancer Thursday at his home after a three-month illness.

He traveled across Siberia in 1917-1918 with the American Expeditionary Force in pursuit of the Bolsheviks.

Three of his sons are law officers: Sergeants Eugene and Robert of the Police Department and Richard, a deputy sheriff. Other survivors: wife, LaDonna, son, Irald; daughters, Mrs. Winifred Kaipust and Miss Donna; 21 grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 8:30 a. m. from the Larkin Funeral Home to St. Mary's Church at 9, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary will be at 8 p. m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Funeral Monday, 8:30 a. m. from the Larkin Funeral Home to St. Mary's Church, 9 a. m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Recitation of rosary Sunday, 8 p. m. at mortuary.
