Kentucky New Era obit posted 19 Feb 1969 reads as follows:

Mrs. Myrtle Jane Mann, 80, died at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah at 7:25 pm Monday following a long illness.

A former resident of Cerulean, Mrs. Mann had recently made her home in Paducah.

Services will be at 10 am Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home in Cadiz with the Rev. Chandler Ford officiating. Burial will be in Cerulean Cemetery.

A native of Trigg County, Mrs. Mann was born Sept. 26, 1888, the daughter of the late Martin Van Buren and America Guthrie Stewart.

She was a member of the Cerulean United Methodist Church. In 1906 she married Nathaniel Mann who died April 18, 1958.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ed Brewer of Paducah; two brothers, Floyd Stewart, Nashville, Tenn., and Tom Stewart, Cerulean; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Gilmar Burgess, Don Spratt, Garland Spratt, Donnie Stewart, Earl Burgess and WIlburn Wilson.
