Steve Betts, 52, of Fort Myers died on Saturday, October 20, 2007. He was a 1972 graduate of Fort Myers High School.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Nancy E Rumberger Betts (FMHS 1974), daughter Meredith Anne Betts (FMHS 1998) and son Caleb E Betts. Additionally, he is survived by his parents, Gene and Novella Betts, brothers Frank Betts (FMHS 1968)(Robin), Clif Betts (FMHS 1975) (Christi), and sister Victoria Lee "Vicki" Wells (FMHS 1982).
Steve will be remembered by his family as a man with a heart for God who in the face of adversity continued to live life to the fullest.
Visitation will be Thursday at Ft Myers Memorial Gardens (Colonial Blvd) 5-8 PM. A memorial service will be held Saturday at Gulf Coast Church of Christ, 11:00 AM (Corner of McGregor and Jefferson).
