Deceased Name: Kenneth Hays
PEORIA - Kenneth H. Hays, 95, of Peoria died Monday, July 10, 2006, at 8:41 a.m. at the Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria.
Mr. Hays was born Dec. 12, 1910, in Cropsey, Ill., the son of Harry and Stella Vail Hays. He married Virginia Whitney on July 11, 1942, at Palmyra, Mo. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Roger (Margaret) of Arizona; one grandson, Christopher; and a brother, Burnell of Milwaukee, Wis.
Mr. Hays was preceded in death by a daughter and his parents.
Mr. Hays worked as a maintenance welder for Caterpillar Tractor Co. for many years until his retirement.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at Cumerford-Endsley-Diggle Funeral Home, 428 W. McClure Ave. The Rev. Don Burleson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at Fairbury, Ill.
