Rites For J. F. Lager

Funeral services were held today at St. Benedict's church in Clyde for J. F. Lager, who died Saturday at his home there. The solemn requiem high mass was sung by the choir, Rev. Fr. Anslem Coppersmith acted as the celebrant; Rev. Fr. Richard Felix was the deacon and Rev. Fr. Joachim Schieber was the sub-deacon. The sermon was given by Rev. Fr. Andrew Kunkel, pastor. Serving were Jimmy Broschied and Joe and John Derks.

Pallbearers were Mike Riley, Bert Carter, Leonard Schieber, Leonard Untiedt, Roy Merrigan, Charles Moffett, Frank Luke and Christopher Farnan.

Burial was in St. Columba cemetery.
